As the economy continues it's slow flattening, Maverick is holding its own on new projects as well as some great potential projects for the near future.

In other exciting news, Maverick will hopefully announce two new projects in the Northern Orlando suburb of Lake Mary. One of the projects will be a restaurant/retail venture in the out lot of the new Westin and the other is a potential destination resort/hotel concept in conjunction with the Gary Player organization.

Last but not least, on the home front - all is well. Both Sinclaire and Hank are enjoying their new schools - Hank continues his golf and Sinclaire continues her acting. Karla is doing fantastic - but really looking for our kitchen renovation to be over! Next month we are taking a long weekend trip to McLeansboro, Illinois to visit family and are looking forward to seeing everyone there!
This past week in a highly covered media event, MVP Entertainment broke ground on construction. I was honored to be a part of the festivities in Baltimore at the Hunt Valley Town Center in Northern Baltimore County. MVP is a partnership between Marc/Laura Rosen and the Baltimore Ravens Linebacker Ray Lewis. As television cameras and reporters looked on, Ray Lewis unvieled our renderings and plans for this 63,000 square foot facility. We look forward to this venture opening in the Spring of 2010 with expansion of the concept into other major cities with other MVP athletes and celebrities.

As far as new updates on on-going projects....Muviville in Fredericksburg, Virginia is well under construction with the building nearly enclosed and taking shape. The three new Houston, Texas Pete & Shorty's remodels are ready for permit - we should be ready for the first beer and burger by the end of the year. Marker 92 in Cape Coral, Florida is nearly finished as well.
We did create a new design for a Muviville in Newport News, Virginia. We very much hope this project moves forward. Attached is our preliminary rendering.
